Admissions Process

Complete an Admissions Application

There are two convenient ways to apply to our college:

-Complete an Online Application
-Paper applications available upon request

Submit Official Transcripts

To request your high school, GED or Home School transcripts
-Transcripts must be in a sealed envelope.

- Applicants who attended a non-accredited high school or home school must submit an official final transcript 

 

Proof of Citizenship and Residency

1. Verification of lawful presence in the United States (Citizenship) Ex. Any valid drivers’ license or ID card from a state that verifies lawful presence in the U.S.


2. Proof of Georgia residency (ex. Georgia Driver’s License, Utility Bill, Auto registration)

Apply for Financial Aid 

Individuals may apply for financial aid BEFORE being before accepted to the College.

Acceptance Letter
After submitting your application, be sure to regularly check your email to track your application status. Your status will be updated as we receive your documents. Once accepted, you should receive your acceptance letter via email within 24-48 hours.

Meet with Student Services
Once accepted, you may schedule a meeting with Student Services to discuss any special request you may have, programs or review available resources . You can find contact details at the About page

 

Attend Orientation 

FTI offers an orientation program designed to fully inform both new and returning students about all aspects of the Institute. During orientation, you'll learn about our policies, procedures, and programs of study. Attending orientation is essential for ensuring you have all the information you need to succeed at FTI.

Payment of Tuition and Fees
Full payment of outstanding charges is due a week before classes begins. For more information, visit the Tuition and Fees page.
